Here is a place where you can catch a glimpse of lakes, fields, mountains and various landscapes of British Columbia. I enjoy breathing the air the higher in elevation I go. There is a sweet smell to the atmosphere depending on the day. Tunkwa Lake, British Columbia

Hello to everyone this month has gotten off to a slow start many things going on and little time at the computer. So here is this month's first post.

This is one of my favorite childhood lakes, many fishing trips to Tunkwa Lake. Nestled between Logan Lake and Savona, British Columbia, there is Tunkwa Provincial Park. This lake is a beautiful place for the whole family. You have hiking trails and different levels of lakes, creeks, and ponds. Tunkwa Lake is 296 hectares and is over 3000 feet in elevation. There is a boat launch and a camp ground. Here are a couple of photos that my dear friends took on a weekend camping trip.

The beauty of nature has always amazed me. This area of British Columbia is set up for "A Lake a Day as long as you stay". The air is truly pure when you are above 3000 feet in elevation. The fishing depends on the day, however one will not be disappointed with the beauty.
