Here is a place where you can catch a glimpse of lakes, fields, mountains and various landscapes of British Columbia. I enjoy breathing the air the higher in elevation I go. There is a sweet smell to the atmosphere depending on the day. Garden Treasures

Another wonderful day in beautiful British Columbia.

Today I wish for health, love, humanity and well being all over the planet. There is a lot going on in the news these days so a thought of goodness and light to all.

Here is another recipe for everyone. This is the time of year for great garden salsa and to embrace the early fall for all the gardens bounty.

1 clove – bulb of garlic (your preference for kung pow)
2 tomatoes
2 jalapenos (less for mild more for hot)
3 peppers (you pick the colors green, red, yellow etc...)
1 red onion
1 bunch of fresh cilantro
1-2 fresh squeezed lime juice
Dash of cumin
Dash of salt and pepper
2-4 tsp of tomato paste (optional)

Wash and prepare all the produce. Dice into desired consistency either by hand or food processor. Place all diced ingredients into a 4-6 cup bowl blend thourouly. Serve with your choice of chips.

For a little variation select 2 ripe avocados and puree or dice. Add the avocado to half of the salsa it is a very colourful guacamole. Keep the pits and wash them and add them to the guacamole it will keep the avocado from going black for a couple days.

Enjoy the salsa and guacamole Love and Light Colleen
