Here is a place where you can catch a glimpse of lakes, fields, mountains and various landscapes of British Columbia. I enjoy breathing the air the higher in elevation I go. There is a sweet smell to the atmosphere depending on the day. Good Cooking

Good day to everyone.

I have many interests among them is my passion for good food. In the last 10 years I have indulged in the culinary arts and have never looked back. There is something to be said about good food, good company and good times. Here is one of my favorite recipes a party hit for everyone depending on how much garlic you put in.

Hummus (a chickpea dip for breads and veggies)

1 bunch of parsley
1 can of chickpeas
1 lemon
1 clove to 1 bulb of garlic (it is your preference)
¼ cup olive oil
Dash of salt and pepper
Dash of cumin

Wash and place parsley in blender or food processor and chop to desired consistency set aside to add later. Drain ¼ of the chickpea juice, peel garlic and squeeze the juice from the lemon. Put the chickpeas juice and all into a blender or food processor add the lemon juice and garlic and blend adding the olive oil as needed to make the consistency smooth. Once blended to desired consistency add the parsley, salt, pepper and cumin to taste. Serve with raw veggies and pita bread. Enjoy!
